At the moment, this feature is only functional for Android users. It is currently not possible for desktop or iOS users to use this option. Please keep an eye on this space for updates regarding when the feature becomes available to iOS users as well.
Once you register for an Amazon Pay balance UPI ID, you can send and receive money from anyone via your Amazon Pay balance: Money account.





Please note:
1. You can only transfer the money component of your Amazon Pay balance. The gift card component can only be utilized for online shopping and is not available for making payments to offline merchants or sending it to family or friends.
2. Both Small PPIs (opened with bare minimum details such as mobile number and self-declaration of name and identification number of any permissible government ID) and Full-KYC PPI users can make payments to any merchant using the UPI ID, although only Full KYC PPI users can make payments to individuals or transfer money to a bank account.

How to Make a Payment to a Merchant:
On a Merchant's Website: Enter the UPI ID on the merchant's website PSP. You will receive an app notification from Amazon for your payment request. If all information is accurate, confirm the payment to complete your transaction. If you do not receive the notification or miss it, you can also view the payment request by clicking "Approve Payment" on the Amazon Pay page on the App and complete your transaction without any additional MPIN.
Offline Merchants: Click on the "Scan and Pay" icon on the Amazon Pay dashboard. You can scan any UPI QR code and ensure the code fits in the scanning frame. Alternatively, you can also choose to scan the QR code from the images stored in your gallery. You will need to grant access to your camera and gallery. Once the QR is detected by the scanner, verify the name of the payee and enter the amount. You can select "Amazon Pay Balance" from the available payment methods, enter the amount, and proceed to complete the payment without any additional MPIN.
