The "Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra" is undertaking efforts to provide a grand structure to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and make the surrounding area secure and convenient for visitors, following the principles of Vastu Shastra.
As part of this process, important temples/sites within the planned boundary of the previous and western parts of the temple are being acquired with mutual agreement between all parties involved.
It has been decided by the Tirth Kshetra that every institution/person affected by this acquisition process will be provided alternative accommodation. The selection of the land for this purpose is being done with the consent of the relevant institutions/persons.
Bag Bijesi, a 1.20-hectare plot of land in Ayodhya, has been acquired transparently with the consent of important temples like the Kausalya Sadan, among others, falling within this process.
It is noteworthy that the above-mentioned plot of land is located on a prime location along the route near Ayodhya railway station.
Regarding this land, contracts have been made with different sellers from 2011 to the present year (2011, 2017, and 2019). After conducting thorough research, contact has been made with the concerned individuals to ensure that this plot of land is suitable for our use. The requested price for the land has been compared to the current market value, and the final amount payable has been set at approximately INR 1,423 per square foot, significantly lower than the prevailing market value in the nearby area.
After reaching a consensus on the price, it was necessary for the relevant individuals to fulfill their previous commitments in order for the sacred pilgrimage site to be acquired.
As soon as the individuals involved in the agreement with the pilgrimage site became aware of the land's banama (deed), the pilgrimage site promptly signed and registered the agreement with utmost dedication and transparency.
From the very first day, it was decided that all payments would be made directly into bank accounts, and this decision was followed during the land acquisition process as well. It has also been ensured that all taxes imposed by the government are paid.
Before making any allegations, the individuals who made statements in accusatory language did not seek information from any official of the pilgrimage site, which has created a situation of confusion in society. A request is made to all devotees of Lord Rama to not believe in any defamation so that the construction work of the transparent and ongoing construction of the Lord Rama birthplace temple is completed without any obstacles.
