Here's a simple guide on how to inflate and deflate foil balloons to ensure their functionality for future use.

Foil balloons can be inflated and deflated multiple times unless they have significant holes or seal issues. Most foil balloons come with a straw for easy inflation and deflation.

To inflate a foil balloon:

STEP 01: Locate the color tab at the end of the balloon and insert a straw into the opening of the foil balloon where the colored plastic slip is visible. This step is crucial, and it's essential to do it correctly to avoid damaging the balloon.

STEP 02: Insert the straw between the two colored plastic slips but not too deep, just approximately 3-4 cm.

STEP 03: Hold the sleeves tight and blow into the other end of the straw, gently and steadily. Avoid overfilling the balloon, as it may burst.

STEP 04: Once the balloon is sufficiently inflated, remove the straw and press the sealing valve at the tail of the balloon to close it.

This same process can be used for most foil balloons as long as they are self-sealing. Besides using a straw, you can use an air pump to inflate the balloons as well.

To deflate a foil balloon:

STEP 01: Locate the color tab at the end of the balloon and insert a drinking straw into the opening of the balloon where the colored plastic slip is visible. The straw must go in between the two slips of colored plastic.

STEP 02: Roll the balloon gently while pushing the straw, make sure to listen for a hissing sound.

STEP 03: Place the straw through the opening of the balloon and gently press on the balloon to release the air. Repeat this process till the balloon is fully deflated.

STEP 04: Fold the balloon slowly till all the air is removed. Once the balloon is wholly deflated, fold it and store it safely for future use.
