A resident's e-Aadhaar will only be viewable in Adobe Reader. Adobe Reader is currently installed on your machine. The System requires Adobe Reader, which can be downloaded for free at https://get.adobe.com/reader/.

Password is the first four letters of your name, all capitalized, plus your birth year, in the format YYYY.

Users in India can download the mAadhaar app on their Android or iPhone devices. Here are the measures to take for the app's installation:

The mAadhaar mobile ID system is more than just a wallet-sized version of the Aadhaar card. The local can receive the following advantages by downloading the mAadhaar app:

All the other Aadhaar services and Aadhaar Profile services available through My Aadhaar require a registered mobile number, though. Anyone with a smartphone can create a profile and register to vote. It's important to note that the OTP will only be sent to the person's registered mobile

The app does not have a save password feature for the security and privacy of Aadhaar cardholders. Because of this, a password is now required whenever a user accesses their profile or My Aadhaar.

The mAadhaar App restricts Aadhaar profile creation to users with a valid Aadhaar number and a corresponding mobile phone number on file. They just need to create a profile on a mobile app that can be downloaded to any smartphone. On the other hand, the OTP will only be sent to their registered phone number. Below are the steps to create your Aadhaar profile:

1. Put the app into action.
2. To register your Aadhaar number, select the button labeled "Register Aadhaar" from the main dashboard.
3. Make up a 4 digit passcode (remember this code, you'll need it to access your profile later)
4. Please enter a valid Captcha and provide a valid Aadhaar.
5. To submit, please enter a valid OTP.
6. As such, the profile needs to be registered.
7. If you go to the registered page, you should see your registered Aadhaar Name there.
8. Click the "My Aadhaar" link in the sidebar.
9. Put in your 4-digit password here.
10. The Aadhaar Dashboard has appeared in my browser.

Users can access their profiles by tapping on their profile summaries located at the very top of the main dashboard (image, name, and Aadhaar number on a cyan tab). Actions to get into your Aadhaar record

1. Start up the program

The mAadhaar app does not allow users to make changes to their personal information. Currently, the only option for changing your address is through the document facility.  

But the demographics update features may be included in subsequent releases.

Both iOS and Android users have access to all of the features of the mAadhaar app. Both the features and the user interface are consistent across platforms (iOS and Android).

Only a subset of Aadhaar's services, like finding an enrollment center or verifying an existing card, or scanning a QR code, will be accessible to residents without a registered mobile number.

All the other Aadhaar services and Aadhaar Profile services accessible via My Aadhaar require a valid mobile number registration. Users can sign up with a profile by downloading an app to their smartphone. However, only the mobile number on file will receive the OTP.

Users of this service are Aadhaar cardholders who wish to verify their identity with an OVSE by submitting digitally signed XML obtained from the UIDAI website. The provider should be able to provide Aadhaar paperless offline e-KYC at their location and conduct the verification process there.

To verify your identity with Aadhaar offline, a service provider must go through the following steps:

Providers are forbidden from disclosing, publishing, or displaying the contents of the Share Code or XML file to any third party. Failure to do so may result in legal action being taken in accordance with Sections 17 and 25 of The Aadhaar (Authentication) Regulation, 2016, Sections 4 and 6 of The Aadhaar (Sharing of Information) Regulation, 2016, and Sections 29(2), 29(3), and 37 of The Aadhaar Act, 2016.

Below is a breakdown of how Aadhaar Offline e-KYC is created:

• Navigate to https://resident.uidai.gov.in/offlineaadhaar.
• After entering your 'Aadhaar Number' or 'VID' and the 'Security Code' shown on the screen, you will be prompted to either 'Send OTP' or 'Enter TOTP. As soon as you enter your Aadhaar or VID, you'll receive a text message with a one-time password to the phone number associated with that information. M-Aadhaar, UIDAI's mobile application, will soon support TOTP. Type in the One-Time Password/One-Time Authentication Code To gain access to the compressed file, enter the Share Code and then click the "Download" button.
• After the above procedures are completed, the Zip file containing the digitally signed XML will be downloaded to the device.

The service provider only needs the customer to present an identity document (PAN card, passport, etc.) in order to verify the customer's identity. It may or may not be possible to instantly verify offline whether or not any of the documents that could be used for identification are genuine. As a result, the verifier of documents must rely on the producer of the document's word and information rather than on any technological safeguards. And yet, the XML file that the holder of an Aadhaar number generates when using Aadhaar Paperless Offline e-KYC is a digitally signed document using a UIDAI digital signature. As a result, the service provider can confirm the authenticity of the file's claimed demographic information through an offline verification process.

It's a safe, transferable file that anyone with an Aadhaar number can use to confirm their identity in person.

A resident who wishes to make use of this service must first visit the UIDAI resident portal in order to create digitally signed Aadhaar details. Name, Address, Photo, Gender, Date of Birth, Registered Mobile Number hash, Registered Email Address hash, and Reference ID consisting of the last 4 digits of the Aadhaar Number followed by a time stamp will all be included in the digitally signed XML file containing the details. It will allow service providers/Offline Verification Seeking Entity (OVSE) to verify customers' identities without collecting or storing customers' Aadhaar numbers.
